Donnae Bell started creating when she discovered pencils were more than chew toys. When she mastered clutching a pencil in her chubby little fingers, it was the beginning of a life-long exploration in exploring her creativity.
Donnae has delighted in exploring a multitude of mediums including metal, paper-mache, cross stitching, photography and pen & ink. But when she first touched mud, she felt like she had come home. That was 15 years ago and since then she has built on her talent with courses as well as knowledge created by years of literally getting her hands dirty.
Though she lives in Vancouver, B.C., Donnae enjoys sharing a studio with fellow artist, Kerry McLaren in Maple Ridge.
