Trudy Deaton studio #3

Trudy Deaton has spent a lifetime being creative and artistic. Her grade school art teacher sent her artwork on an exchange program with European schools. In her career as a Medical Technologist she did Special Stains in Histology. She is a forever doodler and card maker for special occasions. She loves the ocean, the mountains, her garden, her family, her life and any travel scene with colour and texture. Now retired; watercolours, acrylics and pastels are a joy as the colours blend and transform the paper.
My youth on the North end of coastal Vancouver Island in a sheltered small Bay
community gave me a love for wilderness beaches. On stormy days I would watch the waves and hope they would wash in some treasured shells, odd formed or different coloured rocks and delightful broken/twisted little pieces of tree limbs or roots. My lastest interest has been making Shadow Boxes from beachcombing finds.
