Having discovered coloured pencils several ago, I am a self-taught artist who loves creating vignette-style portraits of pets and wildlife. I am particularly fond of dogs, cats, and horses, but enjoy creating any piece involving animals. I love using and discovering techniques to create realistic fur texture, depth of colour, and rich contrast on a variety of paper surfaces. Working from my home studio, my goal is creating a realistic piece where the soul of the animal is experienced. It brings me great pleasure when I create a piece for a client that brings treasured memories of their beloved friends.
