The Stave Falls Artist Group was founded by international artist Ron Hedrick in 2003. It was named after the falls located by his home, although he now resides in Kelowna, his influence remains its guiding force. Presently there are 10 members, who meet monthly with a mandate to support their individual artistic journeys. This is cultivated through various activities such as critiques, plein air painting, participating in art shows, and attending art events. Some founding members remain part of the group today. Although the membership has changed over the years, the members are rooted in the traditions of artists gone before.
