Medium: Painting

Laura Lim is a Maple Ridge artist who works in oils. After graduating with a BA in English and working in marketing for ten years, she returned to her lifelong love of art and began painting professionally in 2023. Inspired by BC’s West Coast, Laura’s work reflects the peacefulness and solace she finds in nature. She loves painting “en plein air” to capture the feeling of the place she's painting. Through her art, Laura's goal is to inspire others to reflect on their own favourite moments outdoors and reconnect with the landscapes that hold meaning to them.
