Pat Scott

Medium: Acrylic

Pat Scott was born in Toronto Ontario and in 1966 Pat moved to British Columbia. Pat’s Cree heritage and love for native art influenced her work, but it is nature that inspired her. Through the passion of her painting she shares the beauty of what she has experienced with others. With nature as her inspiration, much of Pat's work focuses on striking and vibrant renditions of flowers and forests, while other pieces showcase her love for painting special family moments. In 1986 Pat and her husband Terry adopted twin girls from Haiti and their life mission took a dramatic turn. Today Pat sends 50% of all monies collected from her art to Haiti for schooling, medicines, food and shelter, as she has done for the last 37 years.
