Medium: Acrylic Paints

Originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Glenn and his family moved to the Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge area over thirty years ago. For the last 20 years Glenn sketched and painted but recently moved from watercolours to acrylics. After classes in colour theory Glenn developed a passion for bright colours, sgraffito, and layering of textured paint. Sgrafitto is the deliberate scratching, gouging, taping or sanding of the top layers of paint to create vivid contrasts with the underpainting. The results are bold contrasts and a textured paint surface.
