Medium: Painting 

Linda Nelson is a Pitt Meadows artist specializing in watercolor and acrylics.  She does some portraiture and still life work, but her favorite subject matter is 'the great outdoors' done in a realistic impressionist style.  She paints scenes from the broad vistas to intimate woodland and garden images, hoping to evoke feelings of tranquility and a celebration of nature.  Her style works well to achieve these goals. Linda also sells many art cards from this work. On a different note, at year-end she creates and sells cartoon style Christmas whimsy cards.  This, along with art journaling, allows for spontaneous creativity which she really enjoys.
