Tracy Quinsey is best known for her eccentric figurative paintings and contemporary wildlife portraits.  As a representational oil painter, Tracy's enigmatic animals and figures shift between whimsy and reality.  She suggests form and structure in her subjects through expressive brushstrokes and avoids the over rendering of details.  Minimalist backgrounds, thin layers of paint, residual drawing lines and soft edges are all hallmarks of her style. Tracy is the Chair of the MRPM Art Studio Tour, a member of the Canadian Federation of Artists and the Garibaldi Art Club.  She attributes her success as a painter to her long time mentor Shari Pratt.
